Write a 150-200 word reflection on your comfort level with putting your personal information online through this website project. Consider that this website will be publicly accessible on the internet, not just to classmates and instructors. Discuss:

Ensure your screenshot clearly shows the organization of your project files and demonstrates you've begun structuring your website.

Part B: List and briefly describe two specific jobs/companies you're interested in working for after graduation (1 point):

Homepage Progress Documentation

Submit TWO screenshots of your homepage:

  • Desktop view: Screenshot of your homepage on a desktop browser (2 points)
  • Mobile view: Screenshot of the same homepage on mobile (use browser dev tools or actual mobile device) (2 points)

Both screenshots should show your professional photo, hobby summaries, and welcome video placeholder/content. Demonstrate that your site is responsive.

Question 2 (Code Screenshot + Explanation - 3 points):

CSS Implementation Evidence

Part A: Screenshot of your CSS file showing your responsive design code (media queries, flexbox/grid) (2 points)

Part B: Write 2-3 sentences explaining one specific CSS technique you implemented and why you chose it (1 point)

Question 3 (Reflection - 3 points):

Design Choices & Challenges

Write a brief reflection (100-150 words) addressing:

Question 1 (Screenshots + Demo - 4 points):

JavaScript Functionality Evidence

Demonstrate your JavaScript implementation:

  • Code Screenshot: Show your JavaScript file with at least one interactive feature (2 points)
  • Working Demo: Screenshot or screen recording showing the JavaScript feature working on your website (2 points)

Examples: form validation, interactive navigation, image gallery, or any dynamic content you've implemented.

Question 2 (Content Progress - 3 points):

Hobbies & Discover Page Documentation

Submit screenshots showing progress on your content pages:

  • Hobbies Page: Screenshot showing detailed hobby descriptions and at least 3 pictures (1.5 points)
  • Discover Page: Screenshot showing UMD/Duluth content and video placeholder or actual video (1.5 points)

Question 3 (Career Research - 3 points):

Company Research Progress

For each of your two target companies, provide:

  • • Company name and specific position/department you're interested in
  • • Contact information you've found (email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • • 3-4 sentences explaining why this company/role appeals to you
  • • 2-3 qualifications you have that match their needs

This research will be used for your Career Interests section on your website.
